Well, it's now Christmas Eve 2016 and as you can see, the blog didn't amount to much. I 've decided to start afresh in 2017 and this post, is basically to see if I can remember what I am doing. This year has not been the best, K has had a lot of health issues which took us very much by surprise, he is normally so healthy. Lets hope that 2017 brings health, wealth and happiness

Well, I have now reached the grand old age of 60, here is a photograph of my cards

I had a fantastic birthday, friends came over from the UK, I had no idea that they were coming, it was such a shock/surprise!!!! We went for a brunch with a group of friends, it was on the 52nd floor of a hotel, with superb views of the Palm Dubai, I'm a very lucky girl, can I still call myself a girl? Anyway, we leave for our cruise on Tuesday so will post more then. I'm still not sure what I'm doing with this, it's all a bit trial and error, let's hope it works.

First Post

Well, this is my very first post, I'm not at all sure what I am doing, but hope it will be the first of many.The reason for starting the blog is to have a journal of my travels, I wish I had done something like this sooner as I have been to some fantastic places and it would have been nice to have them recorded somewhere. Hopefully, by the time I go my next holiday, I will have learnt how to upload photographs.
